We know. Robinhood has been around a while and has gained a respectable amount of popularity, not to mention various awards and plenty of recognition. So why are we reviewing it? Because we love it, and you might too!
In our experience, we hear a lot of folks talking bad about Robinhood. In general, these are experienced investors who have been using other platforms years before this game-changer came along. Granted, people don’t like change. But it should be noted: while Robinhood makes trading from the comfort of literally anywhere so easy, it does lack some of the more robust features that a seasoned trader or investor would be looking for.
But what if you’re new to this whole thing? If you’re interested in trading but don’t know where to begin, Robinhood could be a great place to start. It’s beautifully designed, simple to use, and absolutely free. But don’t stop there. Do your research and learn the basics of stock trading before you jump in. This kind of thing can be risky, and that is especially true for those who are just getting started.
Robinhood is great as a trading platform, but it works best when paired with other helpful investor tools. On that note, we’ll be reviewing some of our favorite stock research apps in the near future.
